Hanging Style

The reason behind this hanging style :

• The artist allowed herself to play around during the production. The way the cloth material seems moveable in a flat style, she sees some loosening emotion on the painting that goes with the space for this hanging approach. 
• With this cloth material in the living atmosphere and the room temperature, it may adjust itself to create the little curve rolled in along the edge on the side and bottom. Because it is different from the stretched canvas, it can impose some wrinkles when bent or folded.    
• Straightening it out a little and allowing the painting to hang on its position for a couple days (3-5 days), the wrinkles from folding will slowly adjust. 
•  This show the imperfection of the cloth movement and its reaction depending on the room temperature. It is permitting the artist to be aware of the change as also in the nature element we have perceived in everyday life.
  

The Creation

• The cloth is measured and cut to its specific size 
• Gesso and color pigment are mixed together, the artist prime them on the cloth to thicken and make it easier for painting
• Once the painting is done, dry and coat with Matt surface, she sew the top edge to create the hole of the hanging sling
• Two aluminum casing are provided together with the sling sized about 115cm or 45inch. For the hanging space is less than this size, the sling can be shortened. At the knot end you can squeeze the sling, it allows a little space in the aluminum casing and then the sling will be easily adjustable to your hanging space size.
